Hiring Locally
Jobs will be filled by Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo residents wherever possible. Hiring, however, will always be based on merit; if we can't find enough qualified candidates locally, we'll have to look farther afield.

Education
Educational requirements will be set by the needs of each job. We prefer applicants who have graduated from Grade12 or passed a general education development (GED) test. At the same time, we expect there will be some opportunities for people who have significant related experience and on-the-job training in place of formal education.
